Led by Named after Africa\u2019s highest mountain, Mount Kenya, the Republic of Kenya has played and continues to play an important role in African, particularly Eastern African development.<\/p>\nAlthough numerous media reports have characterized Kenya as being plagued by \u201cethnic violence\u201d and recent droughts have resulted widespread famine, is makes claims to some of the worlds most spectacular and diverse wild-life reserves and safaris. \u00a0Kenya is also home to one of Africa\u2019s most interesting and well known tribes, the Masia.<\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5405\" title=\"massai jump\" src=\"https:\/\/orijinculture.com\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/massai_dance_galleryfull.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"811\" \/><\/p>\nLike most African and post-colonial nations, Kenya continues to encounter various political, economic and social ills. However, there is always hope for the future.
