“Mona Lisa, could I get a date on Friday, And if you’re busy, I wouldn’t mind taking Saturday, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay
Round up de posse Fugee comin’ around de way Ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay”. Are the Fugees back or is it another “natural LA that the Refugees” are bringing to Haiti. You are killing me Softly. Rumor has it that the Fugees have united to perform in Haiti in support for pop singer Michel Martelly who is running for the Haitian Presidency. After no clear winner was announced in the November election between former first lady Mirlande Manigat and Michel Martelly, there is scheduled to be a re-election this Sunday, March 20th.
“It’s a new era in Haiti and we are campaigning for change for good in my beloved country,” “I had to come home as a diaspora to make a difference.”, Wyclef told AllHipHop.com, as he reunites with the Fugees: Pras and Lauryn Hill, along side music executive Jimmy Rosemond and also featuring Busta Rhyms in Today’s concert.
Rosemond, who is also descendant of Haiti, expressed his views:
“No change comes easy especially in these trying times for the Haitian population but I had to come to encourage voting for that change,” “As the diaspora becomes more involved with Haiti there can’t be nothing but good change,”
We hope for the best of Haiti and an end to the epidemic that many do not know of. An end to poverty and an end to Cholera which is taking thousands of life’s after the tragic earthquake last January.

Orijinal Questions?
- Who is the best Candidate for Haiti in this time where Haiti is finding its way back on track?
- What can be done in this short moment to get citizens who are skeptic about the election to vote?
- Are the Fugees back this time, and can they influence the people?
