Despite his incarceration, Lil Wayne managed to appease his fans’ thirst for new material by releasing the “I Am Not a Human Being” EP available everywhere on October 12th. The project features the #1 single “Right Above It” featuring Drake as well as 11 other songs featuring guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Jay Sean and the rest of his Cash Money/Young Money crew.

Lil Wayne’s legal issues stem from a violation of New York’s state weapon laws. He accepted full responsibility for the crime, and is currently incarcerated in New York’s Rikers Island and paying his debt to society. He is expected to be released in November.
